In response, Chery’s vehicle loan program will begin accepting applications in the coming days, offering temporary mobility solutions for affected families.
Chery Corporate Malaysia has reiterated its commitment to community safety beyond just road security. The automaker’s relief effort is designed to provide stability to those displaced, ensuring they have access to essential services. The fleet of loaned vehicles will help families commute, attend medical appointments, and manage daily responsibilities as they work toward long-term recovery.
The program will be coordinated in collaboration with the offices of Selangor Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari, Ng Sze Han, and local authorities overseeing the relief efforts. The initiative will run for a designated period, allowing affected residents time to secure permanent transportation solutions.
