Selaras dengan strategi penamaan global terbaharu, model-model tersebut kini dikenali sebagai Eletre 600 dan Eletre 900, merujuk terus kepada kuasa yang ditawarkan. Pendekatan ini memudahkan pelanggan memahami tahap prestasi setiap varian, sama seperti kaedah penamaan pada model baharu Lotus Emeya.

Pelanggan turut boleh memilih pakej yang menekankan aspek pemanduan sporty atau lebih berorientasikan keselesaan dan kemewahan, mengikut cita rasa masing-masing. Dengan cara ini, proses pemilihan menjadi lebih ringkas tetapi masih mengekalkan tahap penyesuaian yang tinggi.

Prestasi kekal sebagai nadi utama Eletre. SUV elektrik ini mampu menghasilkan sehingga 905 bhp, lengkap dengan sistem suspensi udara adaptif, torque vectoring serta aerodinamik aktif — menjadikan gabungan saiz SUV dengan pengendalian tajam yang sinonim dengan jenama Lotus. Bahkan, varian asas Eletre 600 masih berkuasa dengan 603 bhp serta jarak pemanduan sehingga 580 km hasil bateri besar berkapasiti 112 kWh. In line with Lotus’ global naming strategy, the refreshed Eletre range adopts a clearer designation system, with models now identified as the Eletre 600 and Eletre 900, denoting their respective power outputs. The move follows the same philosophy introduced with the Lotus Emeya, ensuring customers can easily distinguish performance levels across the brand’s expanding portfolio.

Each variant of the Eletre is offered with a curated package, giving buyers the freedom to select a sport-oriented specification or a more comfort and technology-focused configuration. Performance remains at the core of the Eletre’s identity. Depending on specification, the SUV delivers up to 905 bhp, paired with adaptive air suspension, torque vectoring, and advanced active aerodynamics. Even the entry-level Eletre 600 offers a compelling package, producing over 603 bhp and delivering a driving range of 580 km from its 112 kWh battery, while features such as KEF’s 15-speaker premium audio system, a 29-inch head-up display, and four-zone climate control highlight its blend of luxury and technology.

For those seeking greater distinction, Lotus Malaysia has introduced a series of enhanced specifications. The Eletre 600 GT SE, priced at RM569,000, gains larger 21-inch wheels, an intelligent glass roof, and hands-free tailgate, while the Eletre 600 Sport SE, from RM649,000, adds the Lotus Dynamic Handling Pack, ventilated and massaging seats, soft-close doors, and an active rear spoiler for added performance flair.

Sitting at the top of the range is the Eletre 900 Sport, commanding RM769,000. With 905 bhp delivered through a dual-motor setup and a two-speed transmission, it represents the pinnacle of Lotus EV engineering. Lotus Malaysia recently invited us over to their Lotus KL showroom for an exclusive Cars, Coffee and KEF experience. The event combined test drives of Lotus’ latest electric lineup, a showcase of premium audio, and a touch of café indulgence, all in true Lotus style.

New Line-up: Lotus Emeya and Eletre

At the heart of the showcase were the 2026 Lotus Emeya and Eletre, two all-electric models that signal the brand’s expanding direction. This was not about price cuts or special editions, but rather an introduction to a broader range of options for customers.

One of the easiest ways to differentiate the new line-up from the earlier models is by the badging at the rear. Lotus now reflects power output in the model names, with badges marked either 600 or 900.

Both the Emeya and Eletre are available in five variants:

Customers can also choose interior materials ranging from the standard Lotus Wear Performance fabric to Nappa leather or Alcantara at an additional cost.

Driving the Emeya 600

We had the chance to get behind the wheel of the Emeya 600, which produces 603 hp and comes with an all-wheel drive system. Despite being an EV, the Emeya delivered an engaging drive that may just change the minds of sceptics.

The active air suspension with continuous damping control worked seamlessly on Malaysian roads, soaking up imperfections without compromising responsiveness. Power delivery was smooth and progressive, making the car exciting yet comfortable to drive without being overwhelming.

Inside, the Lotus Wear fabric seats proved to be comfortable and supportive, underlining Lotus’ focus on blending performance with practicality.

KEF Audio: Cinema on Wheels

The experience wasn’t just about driving. We also spent time in the Eletre to sample its KEF sound system, and the results were nothing short of cinematic.

The entry-level variant comes with 15 speakers, while higher trims get a staggering 23-speaker setup, paired with Dolby Atmos for a truly immersive soundstage. Crisp, clear and powerful, the system transforms the cabin into a private concert hall or movie theatre, depending on your playlist.

Coffee, Lotus Style

To complete the lifestyle angle, the event served up a 3-course coffee experience, complete with mini croissants, sourdough slices, and a rich chocolate mousse. It was a fitting finish to a day that blended performance, luxury, and indulgence.

Pricing in Malaysia

The new models are positioned firmly in the premium EV segment. The Lotus Emeya is priced from RM459,000 to RM699,000, while the Eletre starts at RM499,000 and tops out at RM769,000.

With performance, luxury and advanced technology wrapped in striking designs, the Emeya and Eletre look set to redefine how Malaysians experience Lotus in the electric age.

Enam Varian Eletre, Lima Varian Emeya

Barisan Lotus Eletre kini merangkumi enam varian iaitu Eletre 600, 600 GT, 600 GT SE, 600 SPORT SE, 900 SPORT dan model unggul 900 SPORT CARBON. Varian tertinggi dilengkapi dengan elemen gentian karbon ringan pada bahagian luaran dan dalaman untuk mengurangkan berat serta meningkatkan prestasi.

Sementara itu, model Emeya mengikuti struktur yang sama, namun varian asas Emeya 600 hanya ditawarkan di pasaran United Kingdom. Pasaran Eropah bermula dengan Emeya 600 GT, diikuti varian GT SE, 900 SPORT dan 900 SPORT CARBON.

Setiap varian hadir dengan kelengkapan standard tersendiri dan boleh disesuaikan menerusi pelbagai pakej tambahan, ciri khas serta pilihan warna baharu seperti Zenith White dan Akoya White. Bahagian dalamannya pula boleh dipadankan dengan tema baharu seperti Quartz dan Jasper, yang kini ditawarkan bersama material baharu LOTUSWEAR Performance Fabric — direka untuk keselesaan dan ketahanan maksimum.

Prestasi Luar Biasa dan Pengecasan Pantas

Dari segi prestasi, Emeya 600 dikuasakan oleh pek bateri 102 kWj yang mampu memecut dari 0 hingga 100 km/j dalam hanya 4.15 saat, dengan kelajuan maksimum 250 km/j. Eletre 600 pula menggunakan bateri lebih besar iaitu 112 kWj, membolehkan pecutan dalam 4.5 saat dan kelajuan sehingga 256 km/j.

Untuk prestasi tertinggi, model Emeya 900 dan Eletre 900 masing-masing mampu memecut dari 0–100 km/j dalam hanya 2.78 saat dan 2.95 saat, sekali gus menjadikan kedua-dua model ini antara EV paling pantas di dunia dalam segmennya.

Kedua-dua kenderaan menyokong pengecasan ultra pantas. Emeya menggunakan seni bina bateri 800V yang membolehkan pengecasan dari 10% hingga 80% dalam hanya 14 minit dengan pengecas DC 400kW. Eletre pula mencapai tahap yang sama dalam 20 minit menggunakan pengecas DC 350kW.

Dengan jarak pemanduan sehingga 610 km (Emeya) dan 600 km (Eletre) mengikut kitaran WLTP, kedua-duanya sesuai untuk perjalanan jauh selain mengekalkan keupayaan prestasi tinggi.

Reka Bentuk Aerodinamik dan Kabin Mewah

Kedua-dua model dibangunkan berasaskan falsafah reka bentuk ‘porosity’ Lotus, di mana pengurusan aliran udara tidak hanya tertumpu di sekeliling kenderaan tetapi turut mengalir melalui struktur badan untuk meningkatkan kecekapan dan kestabilan.

Harga dan Ketersediaan Pasaran

Lotus Eletre dan Emeya versi terkini kini boleh ditempah dengan penghantaran dijangka bermula pada musim panas tahun ini. Di United Kingdom, Eletre 600 dijual bermula pada harga sekitar £84,990 (RM515,000), manakala di Eropah, harga bermula dari €99,990 (RM520,000). Emeya 600 GT pula ditawarkan pada harga bermula €107,990 (RM565,000).

Langkah Strategik ke Hadapan

Strategi baharu ini menandakan fasa penting dalam transformasi Lotus sebagai pengeluar EV berprestasi tinggi. Ia mencerminkan komitmen jenama terhadap inovasi, prestasi tanpa kompromi dan warisan perlumbaan yang telah menjadikan Lotus sebagai ikon dalam dunia automotif.

Effective immediately, both the Lotus Eletre and Emeya will be available in either ‘600’ or ‘900’ variants, reflecting the two available power output levels. The move not only aligns with the electrified identity of these models but also revives iconic Lotus trim references such as GT and GT SE, blending historical significance with modern engineering.

According to Lotus, the new naming convention is designed to help customers better identify and choose models based on desired performance and equipment. The 600-series models deliver 612hp of power via dual motors and all-wheel drive, while the 900-series steps up to an electrifying 918hp for peak performance.

The Eletre range now consists of six distinct trim levels: the base Eletre 600, followed by the 600 GT, 600 GT SE, and 600 SPORT SE. Topping the line-up are the high-performance 900 SPORT and the flagship 900 SPORT CARBON, which adds lightweight carbon fibre exterior and interior elements. The Emeya follows a similar structure, although the base Emeya 600 is currently only available in the UK, while European markets begin with the Emeya 600 GT.

Each version offers a well-defined suite of standard equipment and can be further customised through a variety of optional packages, features, and colours. Newly introduced exterior paint choices such as Zenith White and Akoya White complement interior themes like Quartz and Jasper, the latter of which is paired with the new LOTUSWEAR Performance Fabric, designed for enhanced comfort and durability.

The Emeya 600 is powered by a 102 kWh battery pack and sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.15 seconds, reaching a top speed of 250 km/h. The Eletre 600, with a slightly larger 112 kWh battery, completes the same sprint in 4.5 seconds and reaches up to 256 km/h. For those craving ultimate speed, the Emeya 900 and Eletre 900 offer breathtaking acceleration times of 2.78 seconds and 2.95 seconds respectively, showcasing Lotus’ continued commitment to high-performance electrification.

Charging capabilities are equally impressive. The Emeya’s 800V battery architecture supports rapid charging, allowing the battery to go from 10 to 80 percent in approximately 14 minutes using a 400kW DC fast charger. The Eletre achieves a similar feat in 20 minutes with a 350kW DC charger, placing both models among the fastest-charging electric vehicles currently on the market.

With WLTP ranges of up to 610 km for the Emeya and 600 km for the Eletre, both vehicles are engineered not only for speed and agility but also for long-distance practicality. Lotus’ proprietary ‘Hyper Charging’ technology ensures these EVs are as capable on extended journeys as they are on winding roads.

Inside, the Eletre and Emeya feature premium cabins with meticulous attention to detail. From soft-close doors and ambient lighting to massaging and ventilated seats, every aspect of the interior is designed to deliver an immersive and luxurious driving experience. The cockpit layout is driver-focused, supported by advanced infotainment systems, large head-up displays, and an intuitive control interface.

The vehicles also boast cutting-edge aerodynamics rooted in Lotus’ signature design philosophy of ‘porosity’—a concept first seen on the Evija hypercar and later adopted by the Emira. This design language emphasises airflow management not just over and around the vehicle, but through it, significantly enhancing both performance and efficiency.

According to Lotus, both the Eletre and Emeya embody the brand’s DNA of delivering uncompromising driving dynamics, precise handling, and a commitment to innovation. These models represent the next evolution of Lotus’ legacy as they continue to redefine electric performance in their respective SUV and GT segments.

The updated Eletre and Emeya models are now available for order, with deliveries expected to begin this summer. In the UK, the Eletre 600 is priced from approximately £84,990 (RM515,000), while in Europe, it starts at around  €99,990 (RM520,000). Spanning 173.58 m², the Lotus Store in Kuala Lumpur opened its doors 10 months after the launch of the first all-electric Hyper-SUV Lotus Eletre in April last year. The Lotus Eletre has been well-received in Malaysia, with 50 cars already delivered as of this month and another 200 cars on their way.

Designed to reflect Lotus’s new international corporate identity, the Lotus Store showcases two of the brand’s latest offerings in Malaysia – the Eletre and the Emira sports car. It also features a configurator room where customers can personalise and accessorise their vehicles, a dedicated wing for exclusive Lotus merchandise and apparel, and a well-appointed lounge area.

The configurator allows customers to customise every aspect of their vehicle, from the exterior and interior to the level of equipment and additional driving aid features.

Operating daily from 10.00 am to 10.00 pm, the Lotus Store is located on the 1st floor at Lot 1.47.02 of Pavilion Damansara Heights. Customers are greeted by an 8.4 sqm high-resolution LED screen upon entering the store for an engaging display.

The Lotus Store at Pavilion Damansara Heights also sets the stage for the opening of Lotus Cars Malaysia’s flagship showroom in Glenmarie, Shah Alam, scheduled for Q2 2024. The brand plans to further expand its footprint in the Northern and Southern regions and implement a Lotus Mobile Service Solution for greater customer convenience.
