<p><span>Ciri utama bagi keupayaannya menarik muatan berat adalah klac penukar tork (torque converter clutch), iaitu kotak gear khas yang direka untuk beban ekstrem, serta sistem hidraulik dan udara mampat yang berkuasa bagi membolehkan stereng dan perataan yang tepat untuk treler dengan 30 gandar atau lebih.</span></p>
<p><span>Nadi utama model berat ini adalah enjin 15.2-liter MAN D3876 enam silinder sebaris dengan 640 PS dan tork 3,000 Nm yang tersebar luas dari 900 hingga 1,380 rpm. Klac penukar tork (WSK) yang disepadukan ke dalam kotak gear automatik MAN TipMatic 12.30 OD membolehkan permulaan yang berkuasa dan kurang haus dengan tork sehingga 1.59 kali ganda lebih tinggi. Selain itu, Retarder 40 memastikan prestasi brek berterusan yang tinggi serta kestabilan terma.</span></p>

<p><span>Man menghimpunkan komponen utama beban berat di dalam sebuah menara berat (heavy-duty tower) di belakang kabin. Ia mengandungi empat tangki tekanan untuk 160 liter bekalan udara tambahan, tangki diesel 960 liter, dan tangki 290 liter untuk hidraulik berat dua peringkat.</span></p>
<p><span>Sistem ini menghasilkan tekanan sehingga 300 bar, berfungsi dengan sistem penderiaan beban (load-sensing system), dan membekalkan 20 atau 40 l/min minyak secara bebas daripada beban, bergantung kepada keperluan gandar. Penyejuk pengangkutan berat juga ditempatkan di dalam menara tersebut bagi memastikan suhu enjin kekal stabil.</span></p>

<p><span>At the heart of this new heavy-duty model is the 15.2-litre MAN D3876 inline six-cylinder engine with 640 PS and 3,000 Nm of torque that is spread over a wide range from 900 to 1,380 rpm. The torque converter clutch (WSK) integrated into the automated MAN TipMatic 12.30 OD gearbox enables low-wear, powerful starting with up to 1.59 times more torque. In addition, the Retarder 40 ensures high continuous braking performance and thermal stability.</span></p>

<p><span>Man bundles the central heavy-duty components in a heavy-duty tower behind the cab. It contains four pressure tanks for 160 litres of additional air supply, a 960-liter diesel tank and the 290-liter tank for the two-stage heavy duty hydraulics.</span></p>
<p><span>This delivers pressures of up to 300 bars, works with a load-sensing system and provides 20 or 40 l/min of oil independently of the load and dependent on the requirements of the axle. A heavy-duty transport cooler is also housed in the tower, working to keep the engine temperature stable.</span></p>

<p><span>Mengulas mengenai perkembangan ini, Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif DHAS, Fawzi Ahmad menjelaskan bahawa pemilihan trak MAN TGS yang mematuhi piawaian Euro V dilakukan selepas penilaian menyeluruh terhadap pelbagai kriteria utama. Beliau menyatakan bahawa aspek seperti tahap keselamatan, spesifikasi teknikal, kecekapan operasi, harga kompetitif, sokongan selepas jualan dan pertimbangan impak alam sekitar menjadi asas dalam keputusan tersebut. Sistem telematik pintar dan mesra pengguna pada trak tersebut turut menyumbang kepada kecekapan dalam pengurusan armada, manakala reka bentuk kabin yang moden serta luas menerima maklum balas positif daripada para pemandu.</span></p>
<p><span>Fawzi turut memuji profesionalisme MAN Malaysia dalam memastikan penghantaran trak dibuat mengikut jadual, hasil kerjasama erat antara pihak MAN, pembuat pembawa kereta yang dilantik, dan pihak berkuasa berkaitan. Pelancaran ini, katanya, mencerminkan kesiapsiagaan DHAS untuk memenuhi permintaan pasaran yang kian meningkat, terutamanya dalam sektor logistik EV yang kini menjadi semakin penting dalam ekosistem automotif negara.</span></p>

<p><span>Sementara itu, Pengarah Urusan MAN Truck &amp; Bus (M) Sdn Bhd, Andrew O’Brooks menyambut baik kerjasama tersebut dan menganggap pelaksanaan pantas penggunaan trak MAN oleh DHAS sebagai bukti kesungguhan MAN untuk menyokong kelancaran operasi logistik pelanggannya. Beliau menyatakan bahawa trak MAN Euro V merupakan yang pertama ditawarkan sebagai standard di Malaysia, dan sejak pengenalannya pada tahun 2021, model ini telah menunjukkan prestasi mantap dalam situasi operasi dunia sebenar. Menurutnya lagi, kenderaan ini telah terbukti dari segi kecekapan penggunaan bahan api, pengurangan pelepasan karbon, serta jumlah kos pemilikan yang rendah.</span></p>
<p><span>Menjangkau ke masa depan, DHAS turut menunjukkan komitmen terhadap kelestarian dan teknologi hijau dengan menyatakan minat terhadap penggunaan trak elektrik tugas berat. <li>Range and Efficiency: The truck boasts a range of around 600 kilometres, enabled by a 56-kilo hydrogen tank with 700-bar pressure and a simplified exhaust gas aftertreatment system.</li>
<li>Production Plans: The small series, consisting of around 200 units, will be available for customers in Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Iceland, and selected non-European countries starting in 2025.</li>

<p><span>The MAN hTGX is designed for heavy-duty applications, including construction, tank transport, timber transport, and regions with insufficient charging infrastructure but available hydrogen supply. The truck will come in 6&#215;2 and 6&#215;4 axle configurations, allowing for a high payload and significant range. Its H45 hydrogen engine is based on the proven D38 diesel unit and will be produced at the Nuremberg engine and battery plant.</span></p>

<p>Dengan peningkatan trafik barang, terutamanya antara gudang besar untuk kedai dalam talian, trak autonomi telah menjadi lebih penting untuk mengangkut barang antara hab ini. Trak ini sentiasa bergerak dan sangat cekap, menjadikan pengangkutan lebih selamat dan lebih sesuai dengan pelan logistik yang teratur tanpa memerlukan pemandu untuk berehat.</p>
<p>Selain lebih cekap, trak autonomi juga boleh membantu dengan kekurangan pemandu trak, yang merupakan masalah besar di Jerman dan di tempat lain.</p>
<p>Untuk membuat kerja pemanduan autonomi, MAN telah bekerjasama rapat dengan pengendali lebuh raya seperti Autobahn GmbH.
