Toyota Gazoo Racing’s GR Parts division has introduced two distinct styling packages for the H200-generation HiAce, which continues into the 2025 model year in Japan. Despite its longstanding presence since 2004, the van remains a popular choice, prompting Toyota to enhance its appeal with new design upgrades.

The two styling kits, named Version I and Version II, offer unique aesthetic modifications catering to different customer preferences. Version I features an off-road-inspired design, including a rugged bolt-on front bumper insert with integrated LED lights and a metal-style skid plate. Side skirts resembling side steps and GR-branded mudflaps, available in red or black, further emphasize its robust appearance. This package is priced at ¥231,000, approximately RM7,392.

Version II, in contrast, adopts a sportier approach. It includes a front splitter and more subtle side skirt extensions, enhancing the van’s dynamic look. Additional options for this version include a deeper rear bumper with a miniature diffuser, new 15-inch alloy wheels, and a number plate frame with GR bolts. The Version II body kit is priced at ¥143,000, translating to around RM4,576.

For those looking for a more comprehensive transformation, additional accessories are available. A set of wheels and tires costs ¥242,000 (approximately RM7,744), while mudflaps are priced at ¥33,000 (around RM1,056). An anti-theft GR number plate frame is also offered at ¥15,510 (approximately RM496).

The GR Parts division positions these styling enhancements at the entry level of Toyota’s Gazoo Racing hierarchy, sitting below the performance-oriented GR, GR Sport, and track-focused GRMN models. However, Toyota does not officially list the HiAce among its Gazoo Racing lineup, unlike the Hilux GR Sport, which has received a more performance-focused treatment.

In addition to GR Parts, Toyota’s Modellista division also offers customisation options for the HiAce. These include more aggressive aerodynamic components, decal sets, metal trim pieces for the grille, new wheel designs, and enhanced tailpipes.

Interior upgrades such as wood trim, LED lighting, leather seats, and practical accessories like a portable air sleep mat and roof-mounted fishing rod holders are also available. Modellista further provides chassis enhancements, including improved shocks for a smoother ride and rear bracing for additional rigidity. However, no performance upgrades have been introduced for the existing petrol and diesel powertrains.

With these new styling options, Toyota aims to give HiAce owners a broader range of personalization choices, blending practicality with a sportier and more aggressive aesthetic.
