Previously announced to be accepting bookings, the new 2026 Jaecoo J5 is expected to launch soon as entry model with estimated pricing of RM110,000. Additionally, a super early-bird package valued at RM8,888 was also announced prior to its Q1 2026 launch.

Bookings were open in January 2026 with pricing estimated to be RM120,000 but the new revised figure of RM110,000 brings the J5 within touching distance of the Proton X50 Flagship at RM113,300.

As for the super early bird package, the limited-time incentive is valued at RM8,888 and includes the following:

  • First-year insurance (RM3,000)
  • Accessories Trio (RM2,000)
  • Chinese New Year angpow rebate (RM3,888)

For the Accessories Trio, it comprises a subwoofer, wireless karaoke microphone and a multi-functional flashlight for emergencies.

The 2026 Jaecoo J5 Estimated Pricing At RM110k, Super Early-Bird Package Announced

Powering the J5 is a 1.5-litre turbocharged inline-four petrol engine making 147 PS and 210 Nm of torque, all sent to the front wheels through a CVT. While the model is available as a full EV in other markets, Malaysia will likely not be getting that variant.

During a recent media event, it was announced that Omoda and Jaecoo sold a total of 17,849 units between the two Chery-owned brands in 2025, making it a total of over 25,000 units between them on Malaysia roads to date.
