Honda has revealed details of the Honda Super-One EV, with pre-orders in Japan opening on April 16 ahead of a market launch in late May.
Positioned as an A-segment electric vehicle, the Super-One is based on the N-One e: kei car, but adapted for global markets with higher performance capability.
Exterior design features include flared fenders, a wide stance, and aerodynamic elements such as front and rear air ducts. The model will be offered in five colours, including a Boost Violet Pearl finish inspired by atmospheric lightning.
In standard driving mode, the motor produces 64 PS (47 kW) and 162 Nm. With Boost Mode activated, maximum output increases to 95 PS (70 kW).
Boost Mode also enables a simulated seven-speed transmission with paddle shifters, along with an Active Sound Control system that generates a virtual engine sound based on driver inputs. The Super-One is expected to use a 29.6 kWh battery, delivering a WLTP range of around 205 km, or up to 274 km on the WLTC cycle.
