Hyundai Motor Malaysia has announced that order books of the award-winning Ioniq 5 N and the Ioniq 6 N are now open, as the former goes on display at the Penang Autoshow 2026 to be held from 1-3 May 2026.
The 2024 World Performance Car winner, the Ioniq 5 N, and the Ioniq 6 N, form Hyundai’s N line-up in Malaysia and members of the public can will have the opportunity for a close, personal preview of these high-performance EVs during the show.
Estimated pricing for the duo are around RM 450,000 and RM 460,000 respectively and each booking comes with official Hyundai N merchandise worth RM 2,000.

The cars will be built-to-order and bookings can be placed through authorised Hyundai N dealers Sime Darby Auto Hyundai Sdn Bhd (Central), Goh Brothers Motor Sdn Bhd (Northern) and Heng Lian Enterprise Bhd (East Malaysia).
A world winner, the Ioniq 5 N challenges the notion that EVs cannot deliver a truly visceral driving experience, as demonstrated by its 2024 award. It runs a track-tuned chassis and bespoke N-specific hardware producing. Making 650 PS, it does the century sprint in just 3.4 seconds and maxes out at 260 kph.

On the other hand, its sibling, the Ioniq 6 N, is not one to be let out, being awarded World Performance Car of 2026. Its 650 PS shortens the century sprint to 3.2 seconds though the top speed drops a smidgen to 257 kph..
Alongside the display up north, Hyundai Motor Malaysia also welcomed a new authorised dealer partner in the northern region, Goh Brothers Motor Sdn Bhd. Their booth at the show will have on display its full vehicle line-up, including the Santa Fe, Tucson and Staria, as well as the Ioniq 5 N.

Hyundai Motor Malaysia is also offering exclusive offerings and activities during the show, including a test drive campaign to win an official FIFA replica ball and Hyundai jersey. The brand is also extending its nationwide FIFA World Cup Global Test Drive Campaign up until 3 May 2026. This would be the final chance for customers to test drive any Hyundai model and stand a chance to win a trip for two, to watch the Norway vs France FIFA World Cup 2026 match in person.
