The saying goes ‘old cars don’t die, they just get faster.’ Well seemingly final movies does not mean the franchise ends, they just spin-off into a series and shift to streaming. The ‘Fast & Furious’ franchise will not end following the final instalment as a series spin-off is in the works. Everyone and their mechanics
Everyone and their mechanics assumed the 11th and final film in the epic Fast & Furious movie franchise would mark the end of it. It will be some time before we learn the fate of Dominic Toretto and his family in the aptly titled ‘Fast Forever’ that will hit theatres in March 2028.
However, that will not mean the franchise ends as executive producer, series star and all-around ‘family’ man Vin Diesel has revealed that a spin-off series is in the works. Better get that extra order of NOS in soon.

“For the last decade, we have realised that the fans have wanted more. They wanted us to expand the legacy characters, their stories. And for the last decade, the desire has been for us to enter the TV space. And I had to wait ‘til it was right,” he explained.
There is no premiere date for the set as of yet for the series, as is an official title or what the storyline will be. Diesel did add that there will be four new shows based on the franchise coming, although for now only one is confirmed and will be streaming on Peacock.
Seeing that it is still early stages for the series, expect details to be announced in stages, much like how Toretto lives his life on screen a quarter mile at a time.
