JAC Auto (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd today unveiled its all-new JAC N90 light-duty truck during the Malaysia Commercial Vehicle Expo 2026, at the Mines International Exhibition & Convention Centre (MIECC), where Transport Minister YB Anthony Loke officiated the unveiling.
The N90 features advanced safety systems, strong performance and cost-effective ownership, making it perfectly suited for suburban deliveries, construction operations and high-frequency, long-distance transport.
Now in its sixth generation, the N90 has established itself as a trusted workhorse for business worldwide, with more than 3.2 million units sold globally since its introduction.
Slotting into the 7.5-tonne Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM) segment, the N90 offers flexible configurations with multiple wheelbase options ranging from 3,365 mm to 4,800 mm, allowing versatility in adopting various cargo body types, including cargo boxes, refrigerated units, construction bodies and other specialised commercial applications.
Power is from a trusted name in the business, Cummins. The Cummins B4.5 (Euro V) engine is paired with an Eaton-Fuller ESO-6106A transmission. At highway speeds of 80-90 kph, the engine operates within an optimal 1,200-1,600 rpm range, contributing to an estimated 3-5% reduction in fuel consumption.
The engine is jointly developed by JAC Motors and Cummins, complying with Euro V emission standards and produces a maximum output of 160 PS, along with a peak torque of 540 Nm.
Driver comfort and convenience is a key area of focus, with the cabin featuring an air-suspension seat, step-less adjustable armrest and a 10.4-inch multimedia touchscreen paired with a LCD instrument cluster.
Safety comprises intelligent active safety systems including ABS, ASR, hill-start assist and ESC.
The N90 is available for purchase at all authorised JAC dealerships nationwide and starts at RM 118,000 (bare chassis). It comes with a 6-year warranty or 300,000 km, whichever comes first. Customers will also receive a complimentary 10,000 km free service programme.
