Chery Malaysia has opened registration of interest for the Chery Tiggo 9. Positioned above the Tiggo 7 and Tiggo 8, the Tiggo 9 is set to become one of Chery’s more premium SUV offerings locally, with a focus on comfort, technology and all-wheel drive performance.
The Chery Tiggo 9 is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine paired with an all-wheel drive system. Chery also says the SUV will come with seven adaptive driving modes, allowing the vehicle to respond to different road conditions and driving preferences. It also gets 20-inch alloy wheels.
Inside, the cabin features a 15.6-inch 2.5K ultra-high-definition display powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chipset. Other equipment includes a head-up display, adjustable driver’s seat, as well as ventilated and massaging seats for both the front and second rows. For audio, the Tiggo 9 is equipped with a 14-speaker Sony premium sound system, including headrest speakers.
Safety equipment includes 10 airbags and 23 advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).
Chery Malaysia has yet to announce pricing, full specifications or launch timing for the Tiggo 9. Customers can now register their interest through Chery Malaysia’s official website.
