The version shown at KLIMS 2026 is the T33 facelift model, which gets a revised V-motion grille with horizontal slats, along with redesigned front and rear bumpers.

Powertrain specifications for the Malaysian model have yet to be fully announced. In other markets, the X-Trail e-Power uses a 1.5 litre turbocharged three-cylinder engine with variable compression technology, paired with a lithium-ion battery and two electric motors.

The e-4orce all-wheel control system uses electric motors on the front and rear axles to manage torque delivery and braking control at all four wheels. Nissan says the system is designed to improve traction, stability, ride comfort and acceleration response across different road and weather conditions.

Based on the regional model, the X-Trail e-Power e-4orce uses a front motor producing 204 PS and 330 Nm, while the rear motor produces 136 PS and 195 Nm. The exact Malaysian output and final specifications remain to be confirmed.

Equipment for the Malaysian market has also yet to be announced. In neighbouring markets, the X-Trail e-Power is offered with features such as 19-inch alloy wheels, a hands-free powered tailgate, panoramic sunroof, powered front seats, 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, 12.3-inch infotainment screen, head-up display, Bose audio system, wireless charging, 360-degree camera and three-zone climate control.

At KLIMS 2026, the X-Trail e-Power e-4orce is shown alongside Nissan’s current electrified line-up in Malaysia, including the locally assembled Serena e-Power and the Kicks e-Power.

ETCM has yet to announce pricing or variant details for the new X-Trail e-Power e-4orce, though the model is understood to arrive in Malaysia as a fully imported (CBU) unit. More information is expected closer to its launch in Q4 2026.
