Hitting a million units sold worldwide in just three years, Omodo Jaecoo returns to the Beijing Autoshow 2026 to celebrate the defining milestone as it reveals plans for the future.
In that time, the brand has expanded into over 64 international markets, including 16 European markets, and surpassed 220,000 units sold there within just two years. In the United Kingdom, the brand achieved over 2% market share within nine months and entered the top ten within 17 months.
Closer to home, its Malaysian presence sustained this momentum with over 17,800 units sold in 2025, representing 153% year-on-year growth, and is set to exceed the 25,000 cumulative units already on Malaysian roads since its 2024 debut. The upcoming launched of the Omoda C4 and C7 is expected to contribute significantly to those figures.

As part of the Chery Group, it partook in the the group’s Global Partner Business Summit that saw the unveiling of new global strategies and product roll-offs to endurance testing and immersive brand experiences.
Its next phase of growth will focus on more advanced global technologies, deeper market expansion and a continued commitment to sustainable development.

Behind this achievement lies a strong and sustainable business model. Dealers benefit from a profit margin of 3.4%, twice the market average, supported by an aftersales network that reaches 96% of the population.
A highlight at the auto show includes the global debut of its new Valet Parking Driver (VPD) feature, a smart technology designed to take the stress out of parking. Going beyond conventional systems, VPD enables vehicles to independently locate a parking space, park themselves and even return to the driver, all without human intervention.
The technology will be demonstrated in real-world scenarios, including remote summoning, autonomous parking and a direct comparison with an experienced driver in complex conditions.
