In terms of size, the Crosstrek measures 4,480 mm in length, 1,800 mm in width and 1,580 mm in height, with a 2,670 mm wheelbase. Boot space is rated at 291 litres, expanding to 883 litres with the rear seats folded.
Under the skin, it continues to use the Subaru Global Platform, now with a chassis that is said to be 10% stiffer than before. Power comes from a 2.0-litre naturally aspirated boxer engine producing 156 PS and 196 Nm, paired with a Lineartronic CVT.
As expected from Subaru, drive is sent to all four wheels via its Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system. Dual-function X-Mode, SI-Drive, hill descent control, active torque vectoring and vehicle dynamics control are also included.
