The initiative is part of KSM’s “Return, Rebuild and Reposition” strategy, with a focus on strengthening aftersales operations, service standards and long-term customer care.

During the programme, KSM is reconnecting with existing Kia owners through technical engagement sessions and vehicle inspections. More than 100 Kia vehicles are expected to be inspected, including models such as the Sephia, Forte, Cerato, Optima, Picanto, Sorento, Grand Carnival and Sportage. Some participating vehicles have recorded mileage exceeding 400,000 km.

The inspections are led by Hyung Gyu Choi, Senior Technical Manager of Kia’s Ownership Operation Team, who has over 34 years of global aftersales and technical service experience. Participating customers with confirmed appointments will also receive complimentary engine oil, original Kia windshield wipers and a car wash after the inspection.

KSM says the improved ownership push is also supported by its nearly 35,000 sq ft dedicated parts warehouse, aimed at improving service efficiency and parts availability. The company also highlighted its structured 10-step service process, covering appointment booking, consultation, vehicle delivery and follow-up.

The event also marks the introduction of the first Kia Maintenance Plan (KMP), which allows customers to prepay for up to five years of servicing. This locks in maintenance costs during the coverage period, regardless of future price increases for labour, parts or engine oil.

The Kia Maintenance Plan covers items such as fully synthetic engine oil, oil filter, cabin filter, engine air filter, brake fluid, spark plugs and a multipoint vehicle inspection.
