For now, the locally assembled iCaur 03 is offered in the Intelligent All Wheel Drive (iWD) variant, priced at RM 129,880 on-the-road without insurance in Peninsular Malaysia.
This is nearly identical to the fully imported CBU iWD version, which was previously priced at RM 129,800 before EV road tax was factored in. With road tax included, the CBU iWD sets you back RM 130,080, making the CKD version RM 200 less to be exact.
In terms of specifications, the CKD iCaur 03 iWD retains the same setup as the CBU model. It uses a dual-motor powertrain producing a total output of 279 PS and 385 Nm, enabling a 0 to 100 km/h time of 6.5 seconds.
The electric motors are powered by a 69.8 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery, offering up to 418 km of range on the NEDC cycle. Charging supports up to 6.6 kW AC and 80 kW DC fast charging, with a 30 to 80% charge taking around 30 minutes. Vehicle-to-load (V2L) functionality is also included, with output rated at 3.2 kW.
Standard equipment includes 19-inch wheels, LED headlights with adaptive high beam, panoramic sunroof with powered sunshade, faux leather upholstery, powered front seats, dual-zone climate control, rear air vents, ventilated front and rear seats, and massaging front seats.
Other features include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 50W wireless charger, keyless entry and start, ambient lighting, six airbags, 540-degree around view monitor and a 360-degree driving video recorder.
The iCaur 03 iWD also comes with Level 2 ADAS, including autonomous emergency braking, front and rear collision warning, emergency lane keeping, lane departure warning, lane departure prevention, rear cross traffic alert, adaptive cruise control with traffic jam assist, blind spot monitoring and door opening warning.
Each purchase of the CKD iCaur 03 iWD also comes with a 7 kW AC home charger and complimentary scheduled service for two years or 45,000 km, whichever comes first.
Warranty coverage remains unchanged, with a seven-year or 150,000 km vehicle warranty, along with an eight-year or 160,000 km warranty for the battery and electric drive unit. If the battery health drops below 70% within the warranty period, iCaur says a one-to-one replacement will be provided.
iCaur Malaysia says a CKD 2WD variant will be introduced later.
