Furthermore, in respond to the allegations suggesting the marque is departing Malaysia, Stellantis just ran a post on the Peugeot Malaysia Facebook page to reinstate their dedication as well as obligation to the market.

“Rumours travel fast, but the Peugeot 408 drives faster. Malaysia, we’re not going anywhere, except forward. Catch us at our next roadshow or at our Peugeot dealerships nationwide.”

The marque’s portfolio in the country currently comprises five models:

Additionally, the brand is carrying promotional pricing for two of those models, Peugeot 408 Allure and the 2008.

The 408 Allure is powered by a 1.6-litre PureTech turbocharged inline-four engine making 218 PS with 300 Nm of torque and mated to an eight-speed automatic. On the other hand, the compact 2008 features a 1.2-litre PureTech turbocharged mill with 130 PS and 230 Nm of torque, running through a six-speed automatic.

Constantly aiming to deliver value to its customers, the 408 Allure’s promotional pricing is RM120,000 (regular price RM146,055) while the 2008 is now going for RM89,888 (regular price RM136,233). Both are backed by a seven-year or 200,000 km warranty, whichever comes first.
