Power comes from the familiar 1.5-litre hybrid engine paired with a lithium-ion battery and an e-CVT automatic transmission, supported by POWER, NORMAL, and ECO modes. Toyota says the setup continues to offer brisk acceleration, good refinement, and impressive efficiency, rated at up to 26.3 km/L based on Eco Sticker figures.

Hybrid technology has long been a core part of Toyota’s reputation in Thailand, and the company notes that its cumulative hybrid sales between October 2023 and October 2025 have surpassed 73,209 units. The Yaris Cross also led the country’s hybrid SUV segment in 2025, recording 29,187 sales from January to October that year.

The Nightshade treatment brings a series of exterior changes, giving the Yaris Cross a much bolder look than the standard model. It receives a redesigned Metro Stylish front grille, new 18-inch black machined alloy wheels, black side mirrors and a complete black body kit covering the lower front and rear bumpers, side skirts, fog lamp surrounds and tailgate garnish. This is finished off with dark-chrome window mouldings to reinforce the darker theme.

Inside, the black cabin is complemented by the usual spread of amenities such as a fixed panoramic roof with a power sunshade, a power tailgate with a Kick-Activated function, wireless charging and a 10.1-inch touchscreen that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The driver also benefits from an eight-way power-adjustable seat. Toyota highlights practicality as well, with 452 litres of cargo room available at the back.

The company emphasises that its nationwide aftersales network is supported by more than 8,000 hybrid-trained technicians and dedicated repair facilities, ensuring long-term ease of ownership.
