										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Piston Show kini berada di Munich, Jerman, atas jemputan <a href="https://thepistonshow.com/tag/xpeng/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Xpeng</a> Global, di mana syarikat itu telah memperkenalkan Xpeng L03 baharu di acara “Xpeng Live: Physical AI for All” Brand Day dan pelancaran produk baharu.</p>
<p>L03 diperkenalkan merentasi 65 pasaran, dan Xpeng telah mengesahkan kepada The Piston Show bahawa model ini dirancang untuk Malaysia. Bagaimanapun, masa pelancaran tempatan, harga dan spesifikasi Malaysia masih belum diumumkan.</p>
<p>Pengenalannya di Malaysia mungkin masih mengambil sedikit masa kerana persekitaran kawal selia untuk EV yang diimport sepenuhnya telah berubah, sementara Bermaz Xpeng baru sahaja membuka tempahan untuk Xpeng G6 CKD pemasangan tempatan. <p>L03 diposisikan sebagai Next-Gen AI SUV Coupe dan diletakkan di bawah G6 dari segi saiz dan harga global. Ia berukuran 4,650 mm panjang, 1,890 hingga 1,930 mm lebar dan 1,600 mm tinggi, dengan jarak roda 2,850 mm.</p>
<p>Sebagai perbandingan, G6 yang kini dijual di Malaysia berukuran 4,758 mm panjang, 1,920 mm lebar dan 1,650 mm tinggi, dengan jarak roda 2,890 mm. Ini bermakna L03 adalah 108 mm lebih pendek, 50 mm lebih rendah dan mempunyai jarak roda 40 mm lebih pendek berbanding G6. Lebarnya pula hampir sama, bergantung kepada konfigurasi.</p>
<p>Di pasaran luar negara, L03 turut diposisikan di bawah G6 dari segi harga. Di Jerman, L03 dilaporkan bermula dari EUR 35,600 untuk versi BEV dan EUR 38,600 untuk versi REEV. Sebagai konteks, Xpeng G6 bermula dari EUR 43,600 di Jerman.</p>

<p>L03 dibangunkan di bawah kepimpinan bekas ketua reka bentuk luaran Ferrari, JuanMa Lopez. Ia menggunakan bahasa reka bentuk “Vital Flow” Xpeng, dengan stance badan lebar, perkadaran coupe-SUV, siluet fastback, pintu tanpa bingkai, cermin sisi tanpa bingkai dan pemegang pintu semi-concealed bersepadu.</p>
<p>Xpeng berkata L03 mempunyai pekali seretan 0.228, yang membantu menambah jarak pemanduan sehingga 47.5 km berbanding iterasi reka bentuk terdahulu.</p>
<p>L03 akan ditawarkan secara global dalam versi battery electric vehicle (BEV) dan range-extender electric vehicle (REEV). Di Eropah, lima varian ditawarkan, terdiri daripada empat varian BEV dan satu varian REEV.</p>

<p>Untuk rangkaian BEV, varian RWD Standard Range menggunakan motor belakang dengan output 180 kW, atau sekitar 245 PS, dipadankan dengan bateri LFP 58.3 kWh untuk jarak WLTP sehingga 445 km.</p>
<p>Varian RWD Long Range mengekalkan motor belakang yang sama, tetapi menggunakan bateri LFP lebih besar 71.2 kWh, sekali gus meningkatkan jarak WLTP kepada 520 km.</p>
<p>Varian AWD Performance pula menggunakan dua motor dengan output gabungan 285 kW, atau sekitar 387 PS, dipadankan dengan bateri LFP 71.2 kWh yang sama. Jarak WLTP untuk versi AWD disenaraikan pada 440 km.</p>

<p>Versi REEV, dikenali sebagai L03 Power X di Eropah, menggunakan bateri LFP 37.25 kWh, enjin petrol 1.5 liter sebagai generator, dan motor elektrik belakang dengan output 180 kW. Untuk pasaran Eropah, ia menawarkan jarak elektrik sehingga 215 km dan jarak gabungan sehingga 1,017 km. Versi REEV dijangka tiba di Eropah kemudian.</p>
<p>Xpeng mendakwa pengecasan 10 hingga 80% mengambil masa sekitar 20 minit untuk versi BEV. L03 juga menyokong kapasiti tunda sehingga 1,500 kg dan fungsi Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) 6 kW.</p>

<p>Di dalam, L03 menerima paparan tengah 15.6 inci, W-HUD, pencahayaan ambien 256 warna dengan efek gerakan, kawalan iklim AI dengan aliran udara adaptif dan kawalan suara full-scenario. Tempat duduk hadapan hadir dengan fungsi ventilasi, pemanasan, sokongan lumbar elektrik empat hala dan urutan full-body 14 titik. Di belakang, tempat duduknya mempunyai pelarasan elektrik lima tahap, sandaran boleh laras dan armrest jenis through-type.</p>
<p>Tempat duduk belakang lipatan 40:20:40 direka untuk memuatkan barangan lebih besar seperti beg golf, papan ski dan kelengkapan lain. Xpeng turut menyenaraikan 37 ruang simpanan, ruang kargo belakang 539 liter, frunk 102 liter untuk varian EV RWD atau 69 liter untuk varian AWD, serta laci tarik keluar 10 liter di bahagian belakang.</p>
<p>Slaid acara turut menyenaraikan sistem audio 20 pembesar suara dengan tetapan 7.1.4, intelligent sound balancing dan headrest speakers. Xpeng juga mengetengahkan ENC + RNC active noise cancellation, dengan dakwaan pengurangan 10 dB untuk bunyi frekuensi rendah utama dan pengurangan bunyi jalan sebanyak 50%, walaupun ketersediaan kelengkapan mungkin berbeza mengikut pasaran.</p>

<p>L03 juga mempunyai lapan titik lekapan magnet flush, lima mount berulir 1/4 inci dan expansion dock untuk penumpang hadapan. Ia turut menyokong pemasangan roof rack dan tow hook khusus pasaran sebagai pilihan.</p>
<p>Dari segi teknologi, L03 memperkenalkan versi global platform kokpit pintar XOS 6 Xpeng. Sistem ini termasuk pembantu suara AI baharu yang direka untuk menyokong perbualan lebih semula jadi, pemahaman kontekstual dan interaksi pelbagai bahasa.</p>
<p>L03 juga menerima sistem NGP terbaharu Xpeng, dikenali sebagai VLA 2.0, yang direka untuk menyokong bantuan pemanduan lanjutan dalam situasi pemanduan dunia sebenar yang kompleks. Xpeng turut mengaitkan laluan pembangunan Physical AI yang sama dengan mobiliti autonomi masa depan dan aplikasi Robotaxi, walaupun ketersediaan serta keupayaan bergantung kepada peraturan pasaran.</p>
<p>Sistem ini dikuasakan oleh tiga cip Xpeng Turing AI, yang memberikan kuasa pemprosesan sehingga 2,250 TOPS.</p>

<p>Di acara Munich, Xpeng turut mengumumkan kerjasama dengan Google Maps untuk kenderaan di luar China. Syarikat itu berkata ia merupakan pengeluar kereta pertama dari Asia-Pacific yang akan menghantar kenderaan dengan integrasi Google Maps Auto SDK, membolehkan Xpeng membina pengalaman navigasi dalam keretanya sendiri menggunakan teknologi Google Maps tanpa bergantung kepada smartphone mirroring.</p>
<p>Pengguna global L03 akan menjadi yang pertama dalam rangkaian model Xpeng untuk menerima pengalaman navigasi baharu ini.</p>
<p>Ciri keselamatan yang disenaraikan untuk L03 termasuk Driver Monitoring System, child presence detection dan blowout stability control system yang mampu beroperasi sehingga 180 km/j pada varian dual-motor AWD.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We are in Munich, Germany, at the invitation of <a href="https://thepistonshow.com/tag/xpeng/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Xpeng</a> Global, where the company has unveiled the new Xpeng L03 at its “Xpeng Live: Physical AI for All” Brand Day and new product launch event.</p>
<p>The L03 made its debut across 65 markets, and Xpeng has confirmed to The Piston Show that the model is planned for Malaysia. Local launch timing, pricing and Malaysia specifications have yet to be announced.</p>
<p>Its introduction in Malaysia may still take some time as regulatory environment for fully imported EVs have seen a change, while Bermaz Xpeng has only just opened bookings for the locally assembled Xpeng G6 CKD. The G6 CKD is assembled at EP Manufacturing Berhad’s facility in Melaka, with deliveries scheduled to begin in August 2026.</p>

<p>The L03 is positioned as a Next-Gen AI SUV Coupe and sits below the G6 in size and global pricing. It measures 4,650 mm long, 1,890 to 1,930 mm wide and 1,600 mm tall, with a 2,850 mm wheelbase.</p>
<p>For comparison, the G6 currently sold in Malaysia measures 4,758 mm long, 1,920 mm wide and 1,650 mm tall, with a 2,890 mm wheelbase. This makes the L03 108 mm shorter, 50 mm lower and gives it a 40 mm shorter wheelbase than the G6. Its width is broadly similar, depending on configuration.</p>
<p>Overseas, the L03 is also positioned below the G6 in pricing. In Germany, the L03 has been reported from EUR 35,600 for the BEV version and EUR 38,600 for the REEV version. For context, the Xpeng G6 starts from EUR 43,600 in Germany.</p>

<p>The L03 was developed under the leadership of former Ferrari exterior design chief JuanMa Lopez. It uses Xpeng’s “Vital Flow” design language, with a wide-body stance, coupe-SUV proportions, a fastback silhouette, frameless doors, frameless exterior mirrors and integrated semi-concealed door handles.</p>
<p>Xpeng says the L03 has a drag coefficient of 0.228, which extends driving range by up to 47.5 km compared to earlier design iterations.</p>
<p>The L03 will be offered globally in both battery electric vehicle (BEV) and range-extender electric vehicle (REEV) versions. In Europe, five variants are offered, consisting of four BEV variants and one REEV variant.</p>

<p>For the BEV line-up, the RWD Standard Range uses a rear motor rated at 180 kW, or around 245 PS, paired with a 58.3 kWh LFP battery for up to 445 km of WLTP range. The RWD Long Range keeps the same rear motor but gets a larger 71.2 kWh LFP battery, increasing WLTP range to 520 km.</p>
<p>The AWD Performance variants use dual motors with a combined output of 285 kW, or around 387 PS, paired with the same 71.2 kWh LFP battery. WLTP range for the AWD version is listed at 440 km.</p>
<p>The REEV version, known as the L03 Power X, uses a 37.25 kWh LFP battery, a 1.5-litre petrol engine acting as a generator, and a rear electric motor rated at 180 kW. For Europe, it offers up to 215 km of electric-only range and up to 1,017 km of combined range. The REEV version is expected to arrive in Europe later.</p>
<p>Xpeng claims 10-80% charging takes around 20 minutes for the BEV versions. The L03 also supports up to 1,500 kg of towing capacity and 6 kW Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capability.</p>

<p>Inside, the L03 gets a 15.6-inch central display, W-HUD, 256-colour ambient lighting with motion effects, AI climate control with adaptive airflow and full-scenario voice control. The front seats come with ventilation, heating, four-way power lumbar support and 14-point full-body massage. At the rear, the seats feature five-level electric adjustment, adjustable backrests and a through-type armrest.</p>
<p>The 40:20:40 split-folding rear bench is designed to accommodate larger items such as golf bags, ski boards and other gear. Xpeng also lists 37 storage spaces, a 539-litre rear cargo hold, a front trunk measuring 102 litres for RWD EV variants or 69 litres for AWD variants, and a 10-litre pull-out rear drawer.</p>
<p>The event slides also listed a 20-speaker audio system with a 7.1.4 setup, intelligent sound balancing and headrest speakers. Xpeng also highlighted ENC + RNC active noise cancellation, claiming a 10 dB reduction in core low-frequency noise and a 50% reduction in road noise, although vehicle trim availability may vary by market.</p>

<p>The L03 also features eight flush magnetic attachment points, five 1/4-inch threaded mounts and front passenger expansion docks. It supports roof racks and an optional market-specific tow hook.</p>
<p>On the technology side, the L03 debuts the global version of Xpeng’s XOS 6 intelligent cockpit platform. The system includes a new AI voice assistant designed to support natural conversations, contextual understanding and multilingual interaction.</p>
<p>The L03 also gets Xpeng’s latest NGP system, known as VLA 2.0, which is designed to support advanced driver assistance in complex real-world driving environments. Xpeng has also linked the same Physical AI development path to future autonomous mobility and Robotaxi applications, although availability and capability will depend on market regulations. The system is powered by three Xpeng Turing AI chips, delivering up to 2,250 TOPS of computing power.</p>

<p>At the Munich event, Xpeng also announced a partnership with Google Maps for vehicles outside China. The company says it is the first automaker from Asia-Pacific to ship a vehicle with Google Maps Auto SDK integration, allowing Xpeng to build its own in-car navigation experience using Google Maps technology without relying on smartphone mirroring.</p>
<p>Global L03 users will be the first in Xpeng’s line-up to receive this upgraded navigation experience.</p>
<p>Safety features listed for the L03 include a Driver Monitoring System, child presence detection and a blowout stability control system capable of operating at up to 180 km/h on dual-motor AWD variants.</p>
