The Kia EV9, which debuted in March 2023, has already earned international acclaim, winning prestigious awards such as the 2024 World Car of The Year and the Best of the Best Award in the Cars and Motorcycle category by Red Dot Award: Product Design 2024.

The EV9 exemplifies Kia’s “Opposites United” design philosophy, balancing bold styling with sophisticated elegance. Its exterior presents a contemporary calmness, with a “Digital Tiger Face” that includes a dynamic “Digital Pattern Lighting Grille” and vertical headlamps for a futuristic appearance. The “Star Map” lighting on the LED daytime running lights (DRL) and taillights creates an animated pattern, giving the vehicle a distinctive look.
Innovative Interior Design
The interior of the EV9 is designed for millennial families, emphasising space, adaptability, comfort, and cutting-edge technology. The cabin features a long wheelbase, low beltline, and flat electric vehicle architecture, offering generous space in both six-seat and seven-seat configurations. The design incorporates recycled materials, creating a premium-quality, user-friendly environment.
A floating panoramic dashboard extends from the steering wheel to the center of the vehicle, featuring two 12.3-inch touch screens and a 5-inch segment display for improved digital interaction. This setup minimises physical buttons, enhancing the intuitive user experience.
Advanced Electric Powertrain
Built on Kia’s Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP), the EV9 is the second Kia model based on this platform and the first to feature fourth-generation battery technology for improved energy density. The 99.8 kWh high-voltage battery pack, paired with dual electric motors, powers the all-wheel drive (AWD) EV9, allowing it to travel up to 505km on a single charge. With 700Nm of torque and 380hp, the EV9 delivers a thrilling and sustainable driving experience.
