In 2023, only 2,652 Supras were sold, and although Toyota did not provide a breakdown by engine type, it is assumed that the four-cylinder model was the slower mover.

The Supra lineup now consists solely of the six-cylinder model. The 2025 Supra will be available in 3.0 and 3.0 Premium trims, both powered by a turbocharged 3.0-litre inline-six engine generating 382hp and 498Nm of torque.

Buyers will have the option of an eight-speed automatic or a six-speed manual transmission. Performance-wise, the automatic version can reach 100km/h in about 3.9 seconds, while the manual takes about 4.2 seconds.

Despite the discontinuation of the four-cylinder model, the six-cylinder Supra will see a slight price increase for the 2025 model year.
