Sentinel Automotive Sdn Bhd, the franchise holder for Zeekr, has introduced the Zeekr 009 luxury MPV and Zeekr X urban SUV to Malaysia, marking a significant milestone in the local premium EV market. These vehicles are now available for booking, with the first deliveries scheduled for mid-December 2024.
The Zeekr 009 MPV offers two seating configurations: a seven-seater priced at RM349,800 and a six-seater priced at RM359,800. Meanwhile, the Zeekr X urban SUV is available in two variants. The Premium model is priced at RM155,800, while the Flagship AWD model is available at RM172,800. Both vehicles come with a five-year/150,000 km vehicle warranty and an eight-year/160,000 km battery warranty. Additionally, owners will enjoy two years of complimentary connected services, which include 6GB of internet data for app navigation and over-the-air (OTA) updates.
To celebrate the launch, the first 500 buyers of the Zeekr 009 and Zeekr X will receive an exclusive package featuring a home charger and portable charger. Zeekr X buyers will also receive additional perks such as solar film and a sunshade cover.
The Zeekr 009 delivers 603hp and 693Nm of torque through dual electric motors. This enables the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in just 4.5 seconds. Equipped with a 116 kWh battery, it offers a WLTP-certified range of 582km, and its DC fast-charging capability allows the battery to charge from 10% to 80% in just 30 minutes. Inside, the MPV provides a first-class experience, blending advanced technology with plush interiors to meet the highest standards of comfort and convenience.
The Zeekr X Flagship AWD model generates up to 422hp of power and 543Nm of torque, enabling it to sprint from 0 to 100km/h in 3.8 seconds. The Premium model, tailored for a more efficient yet dynamic drive, produces 268hp of power and accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in 5.6 seconds. Both variants come with a 66 kWh battery, providing a range of 440km, and support 150 kW DC fast charging for quick recharging from 10% to 80% in 30 minutes.
To support its expansion in Malaysia, Zeekr has opened its flagship showroom in Petaling Jaya. Spanning 12,187 square feet, this showroom offers a premium customer experience with dedicated sales and service facilities. Additional showrooms in Selangor, Penang, and Johor are slated for completion by mid-2025, with further expansions planned for Kuala Lumpur, Pahang, Melaka, and Sarawak.
