SAIC Motor Malaysia proudly announced the graduation of 39 MG Certified Technicians, marking a significant milestone in enhancing the brand’s aftersales service capabilities across Malaysia. The technicians completed a rigorous training program that covered the latest advancements in ICE and EV technologies. The program was developed in collaboration with a local training academy and incorporated materials from global markets where SAIC operates, ensuring that the technicians are well-equipped to handle the most advanced MG vehicles.
In addition, SAIC Motor Malaysia was invited to participate in global training initiatives organized by SAIC Motor International, which certified technicians on advanced models like the MG4 and ZS EV in Shanghai and the MG5 and MG HS in Thailand. The hands-on training focused on critical servicing and repair skills, ensuring that the technicians are prepared to service MG’s most cutting-edge models.
Among the graduates were two female service advisors, underlining the growing importance of EV technicians as Malaysia experiences a surge in EV adoption. This specialised training not only focuses on the latest vehicle technologies but also equips technicians to meet future challenges in the ever-evolving automotive landscape. SAIC Motor Malaysia is committed to offering continuous in-depth specialised training, particularly in EV and High-Voltage Battery Technology, with the aim of advancing technicians from Junior Tech to Master Tech.
