Sime Beyond Auto has launched BYD Sri Petaling, marking its sixth BYD outlet in Malaysia. The new outlet is a 1S centre located within the Bukit Jalil-Sri Petaling corridor, placing BYD closer to a growing residential and lifestyle area in Kuala Lumpur.
According to Sime Beyond Auto, the location was chosen to connect with a community of young professionals and families, while strengthening the company’s position as Malaysia’s largest BYD dealer group.
In August, BYD Sri Petaling is set to adopt a sports-inspired showroom concept, drawing on Bukit Jalil’s connection with the National Stadium and surrounding sports facilities.
The showroom will feature a dedicated delivery room envisioned as the “centre field”, turning vehicle handovers into a highlight moment for customers. It will also have space for up to five vehicles and a customer lounge.
Vi Thim Juan, Managing Director, Malaysia Retail & Distribution, Sime Motors, said Sime Beyond Auto’s expansion reflects its commitment to bringing the BYD experience closer to Malaysians. He added that each new outlet supports BYD’s growth in Malaysia while strengthening automotive retail and aftersales standards.

Sime Beyond Auto was established in 2022 and has since expanded its BYD network across key markets in Malaysia. Its current outlets are BYD Ara Damansara, BYD Mid Valley Southkey, BYD Kuala Lumpur @ TREC, BYD Tebrau, BYD Mansion Macalister and BYD Sri Petaling.
The company also highlighted its recent wins at the BYD National Dealer Conference 2025, including Malaysia Overall Champion for BYD Mansion Macalister, Top Dealer Outlet for BYD Ara Damansara and Top Live Streamer for BYD Kuala Lumpur @ TREC.
Customers who place bookings at any Sime Beyond Auto branch this weekend can enjoy promotional packages worth up to RM 14,000 on the BYD Atto 3, and stand a chance to win prizes worth up to RM 1,000 in a lucky draw.
