The all-new 2026 Lexus ES appears to be heading for its Malaysian launch soon, with sales advisors beginning to circulate promotional materials for the eighth-generation sedan.
While Lexus Malaysia has yet to officially publish full local specifications or pricing on its website, materials shared by sales advisors point to the new ES being offered here as the ES 350h Luxury.
According to the circulated estimated price list dated 7 July 2026, the Lexus ES 350h Luxury will be fully imported (CBU) and is listed for Peninsular Malaysia at RM 366,888 on-the-road without insurance for individual private registration.
The same price list shows a 2,487 cc engine displacement, which points to the 2.5-litre hybrid powertrain used in the global ES 350h. The price list also notes a five-year warranty with unlimited mileage, along with an eight-year hybrid electric warranty with unlimited mileage.
This is interesting because Australia has just announced its all-new ES line-up with the ES 350e and ES 500e electric variants launching first, followed by the ES 300h hybrid later in the year. At this point, there is no indication if Malaysia will receive the fully electric ES 350e or ES 500e alongside the ES 350h.
Globally, the all-new ES is now in its eighth generation and is built on a newly developed multi-pathway platform based on the GA-K architecture. The platform supports both hybrid and battery electric powertrains.
The new ES is also larger than before, measuring 5,140 mm long, 1,920 mm wide and 1,555 mm tall in hybrid form, with a 2,950 mm wheelbase. That makes it 165 mm longer, 55 mm wider and 110 mm taller than the previous model, while the wheelbase has grown by 80 mm.
For the global ES 350h, Lexus lists a 2.5-litre naturally aspirated four-cylinder hybrid system with a combined output of 182 kW, or around 247 PS. The 0-100 km/h time is listed between 7.8 and 8.0 seconds, depending on specification.

Design-wise, the all-new ES uses Lexus’ latest “Clean Tech x Elegance” design approach, with a cleaner front end, slimmer lighting, a more flowing sedan profile and a new interpretation of the spindle-shaped front face.
Inside, the new ES gets a completely redesigned cabin with a 12.3-inch digital instrument display and a 14.0-inch central touchscreen. Lexus has also introduced responsive hidden switches, which remain visually hidden until they are hovered over or touched.
The teaser material being circulated locally also highlights Lexus Safety System+ 4.0, a Mark Levinson sound system, Lexus Teammate and Park Assist.
